My name is Barbara Hartley-Snazelle
I live in San Francisco with my husband and our rescue dog. I took the photo of the clouds while walking our dog on one of our many daily walks.
My love of travel incorporating food, wine and single malt whisky has formed a deep connection with the UK and Europe and beyond. I like to entertain and have hosted food and whisky pairings and dinners and wine pairings with friends, new and old.
One of my many hobbies is cooking, and I have a large collection of cookbooks, some of them signed by my favorite chefs. I find cooking to be a form of relaxation and fun, particularly on a stressful day.
Working with lots of businesses in various categories has always provided me with opportunities to learn new skills, make new friends and allowed me to develop my skills as a project manager and marketing consultant. My good fortune is working with different types of companies which have broadened my knowledge base and curiosity.
One thing I have learned is that you can't do it alone. Because of the talented folks I have worked with in the past, I have learned a lot of things that can't be taught. Observation of some of the best in class has brought me incredible insights and experiences I can share. Collaboration is key.
